The infant room is designed for ages two weeks to two years of age. Our infant room has a daily sheet on each child that lists what they ate, what time they ate, what activities they did that day, sleeping times, notes to parents, and diaper changes.  Daily sheets are sent home each day for parents to use as a reference to their child’s day.  During the week infants do several sensory activities, along with arts and crafts, walks, table activities, fine motor skills, and daily centers.  The room has a kitchen set, book area, soft toys,  babies, music toys, blocks, and much more. While in this room, the older group of children will work on sitting at a table, eating with utensils, drinking from a cup, sleeping on a mat, and more skills to get ready for the yellow room.The infant room teachers individualize the needs of each child based on what the child needs.
